Grab Lightning. Add Thunder.

Lightning and thunder in January? In Southern California? And, it was overnight–a scary soundtrack to disturb my slumbering mind. The crashing, thunderous vibrations woke me from a deep sleep. Since I couldn’t forget what I heard, lying there, taking in more of the noises with my eyes open in the dark, my brain got to work, as it often does, before my feet hit the floor in the morning. Would I catch lightning in a bottle this time?

There’s so much to tackle on my immediate horizon. I’m grateful for all the opportunity. But I wonder if I’m attempting to take on too much with the limited, daily time on hand. When in pursuit of a goal, I like to be thorough. Is that a possibility when multiplied across a myriad of projects?

No one would call me methodical. Just ask my husband. But what I am, generally, is determined. If I could look at myself objectively, from a height of 50 feet, I might say: She sometimes has the gusts to release her curiosities in creative ways. When I allow myself a creative release, I’m often amazed by what gets loose.

I invite you to check back in periodically to find out what milestones I’ve reached. Will I catch that lightning and release the thunder?
